The company F.LLI FACCHINETTI - with its world-wide known

registered trade mark - was founded in 1949 in an area of great enterprising spirit that developed through centuries of enlightened tradition going back to Roman times when the Lombard pre-Alps were exploited for their high grade iron ore.

At the end of the Second World War the wish for recovery of a nation concentrating on rebuilding led Facchinetti brothers to specialize in the production of locks and padlocks.

Now the Company is over 50 years old and its history developed through three different phases:
- during the first one

production relied on the craftsmanship of hard-working men
- in the second period powerful machines were installed and a second factory was built with a consequent increase in manufactured goods
- the third period is the present one and it is characterized by the commitment to quality resulting from a large range of factors such as: highly sophisticated most advanced computer generated machinery, careful choice of raw materials and a qualified work-force. Moreover the two plants have been enlarged to meet the exigencies of a modern organization.
